ElectraCOOL™ Brand recirculating Chillers
Our recirculating chillers or 'Liquid-to-Air Heat Exchangers' control the temperature of liquids typically used to cool, or stabilize the operating temperatures of lasers, medical equipment, semiconductor equipment, or any process requiring temperature control even aquariums and high end processors.
All feature efficient high reliability seal-less centrifugal magnetic drive pumps (45,000 hours MTBF) with brushless DC motors and quiet high performance fans. No detail has been overlooked. Colder brand “Quick Connect” hardware is the standard coupling hardware used in ElectraCOOL chillers. Generally we use ¼” OD - PLC Series Coupling Bodies (female fitting) with an integrated valve that prevents leaking from the chiller after a tube is disconnected.
In order to connect your line to the chiller you will need a Colder Coupling Insert (male fitting). The standard Coupling Insert part number for ¼” OD tubing is PLCD2004 (with valve) or PLC2004 (without valve.) Advanced Thermoelectric can supply these or you can order them direct from Colder in quantity.
