ElectraCOOL TM Series Thermoelectric Modules
Several Years ago, with the onset of RoHS requirements we began exclusevely manufaturing lead-free thermoelectric modules. All of the modules we now sell have the prefix TM for Thermoelectric Module. These modules previously were designated as our HP or High Performance series. We no longer manufacture ST (Standard Thermoelectric) Series modules.
Our modules are built with a the highest quality of alumina ceramics, solder rated for high operating temperatures and excellent antidiffusion barriers that allow the modules to be used in applications with a hot side operating temperature as high as +200ºC.
Out TECs may be used for cooling, heating and temperature stabilization and are employed in a wide range of applications including electro-optic/telecommunications, lab/scientific, biomedical, consumer and aerospace/military.
The operating temperature range for our modules is from -50°C +200°C. We recommend sealing modules with an epoxy edge seal for both strength (in compression) and to form a water and vapor-proof barrier. Additionally modules can be potted to provide additional protection from long term corroson or Lapped to a close height tolerance of ± 0.01mm.
